Week 4 - MKTG 6101 - Surfing the Tsunami - Chapter 4
Hello everyone!
This post will be covering the content covered in Chapter 4 in Surfing the Tsunami (https://www.amazon.com/Surfing-Tsunami-Introduction-Artificial-Intelligence/dp/1976756340).
In this chapter, we dive into Level 1: Adapt.
To adapt to AI is to go from a passive to an active stance. We must stop letting the vital research, data, and information that has been made available to us pass us by. In doing so, we stand the chance of not becoming adequately prepared for the changes that AI is already making and the changes that are yet to come. By taking an active approach, we can move from a passerby perspective and actually begin to research and become more up-to-date with the changes and expected changes with AI.
It can be very easy to sit back and not take the time to research because we’re either too preoccupied with our current lives or we simply do not care to research. To that I say, read Chapter 3 of Surfing the Tsunami and dive into the countless articles that stress the importance of AI and its effects, both positive and negative.
Furthermore, in order to Adapt to AI and evolve into an active stance, you can start by setting time during the day to research AND actually read articles and books.
Here are some great examples from Surfing the Tsunami:
